Meet Frida

My name is Frida. I am a member of the 2023 Flight Crew and I am a 15 year old student living in a city of perseverance: New York. I recently moved to the country made of dreams, the US, and while I was forced to leave behind a great part of my history, the passion I have for STEM has followed me here, as well. I am extremely enthusiastic about the study of Cardiothoracics and Scientific Research, due to the great risk that diseases in this category have on the human population! Participating in afterschool STEM, such as my experience as a part of the Science Career Ladder at the New York Hall of Science, has helped me gain confidence, and inspired me to make an effort to better our world! To me, STEM is like a castle full of doors that guide you into a world of possibilities. There is a door for every one of us!
