From San Jose, California, Turiya is interested in mechanical engineering or sustainable product design.

Turiya wants to use their skills in designing things such as robots or products to help change the world, and help solve climate change.

“The STEM community was built by people like you– pioneers who dared to do it even when they were told they weren't welcome. Step outside of the norm, and push the boundaries of science. Remember that STEM is for everyone and that trying to do something considered crazy or impossible in the eyes of others is the very heart of STEM.”
